OUR STORY

15 YEARS AND COUNTING

Our Ethos

Curation over inventory

We’d rather stand behind one great shirt than fill the floor with ten forgettable ones. Every brand we carry has earned its place — through quality, fit, and the way it works in real life. We wear it ourselves, our customers come back for it, and that’s what matters. Everything mixes in. Nothing feels try-hard. In, easy, done.

Service that's actually personal

No commission chase. No pressure. No pushing something because it’s overstocked or someone needs to hit a number. Our team knows the brands, knows the fit, and knows how to put things together in a way that feels natural. If something isn’t right for you, we’ll tell you — even if that means you leave empty-handed today.

A real local shop

We’re independent, family-run, and part of this neighborhood. When you shop here, you’re supporting a real Seattle business — not a corporate playbook or a distant headquarters. We know our customers by name, care deeply about what we bring into the store, and believe in giving back to the community that supports us — including local schools and organizations right here in Seattle. We don’t take that lightly.

The Story So Far

About Jack Jerome

Jack Jerome is a University Village neighborhood Seattle clothing store offering a unique and carefully selected collection of brands for men and women. At Jack Jerome we believe that personal style influences how you are perceived and impact the world around you. Let us help you master that “first impression”. At Jack Jerome, we’ve created a comfortable, easy & fun environment where our staff will help you define your personal style.

The brands we carry — and why we carry them.

Our brand mix isn't an accident. We've been refining it since the day we opened.

For the men: Barbour for the weather we actually have. Peter Millar for the office, the course, and the dinner reservation. Travis Mathew for the everyday. Relwen when you want something with a little more story to it. Bills Khakis — yes, the same brand Pete Carroll wore on the sidelines — for the kind of pants that quietly outlast everything else in the closet.

For the women: Frank & Eileen for the shirt you'll keep forever. Rails for the off-duty days. Paige, AGOLDE, AG, and 7 For All Mankind for denim that fits like the brand promised it would.

These are brands you can find online. What you can't find online is someone who knows which Barbour wax weight is right for a Seattle winter, or which Frank & Eileen cut works for the shoulders you actually have. That's the part we keep showing up for.

★★★★★

What really sets this place apart is the service. The staff actually know their inventory, they know how things fit, and they're not pushing you toward whatever they need to move that week. It's the kind of shopping experience you forgot still existed.

Ben S.
★★★★★

Jack Jerome carries European and American brands that help you stand out from the crowd of Nordstrom brands everyone else is wearing. If you want to look like yourself instead of every other guy at U-Village, this is the store.

Mark P.
★★★★★

Wonderful family business with impeccable style. A great local shop without the typical retail vibe of pushy salespeople and crowds. The staff is wonderful and they make every visit feel personal.

Laura D.
★★★★★

Nordstrom-like service with a great boutique charm. They carry brands like Peter Millar, Travis Mathew, and Barbour that you can't find easily elsewhere in Seattle — and the parking is a thousand times easier than U-Village.
